The South Carolina Department of Education provides this public lookup feature to verify an educator's certification status. The lookup indicates the educator's name, certificate status and type, and certification fields and endorsements issued. If the educator is employed in a public school setting, the lookup will indicate the school district. This feature is provided in compliance with the federal Parents' Right to Know requirement.
