It is with great pleasure on January 28th, 2025, we will have the honor to retire the jersey of Mr. Tyreik McAllister. The ceremony will take place in between the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball game in the Latta High School Gymnasium. The ceremony will take place roughly around 7:30 PM, following the varsity girls game which is set to tip-off at 6:00 PM.
Tyreik is a 2016 graduate of Latta High School. During his time here at Latta, Tyreik broke records, brought home victories, and gave us moments we’ll never forget. He carried our school’s name with pride, and his accomplishments put Latta High at the forefront in ways we could only dream of. While his stats and accolades are remarkable, what truly defines Tyreik is his heart-the heart of a champion.
Now, as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders, Tyreik continues to make us proud, showcasing the same dedication and grit that made him a star here. His journey is proof that dreams can come true with hard work, perseverance, and a supportive community like ours behind him. This ceremony is a fitting tribute to his achievements, and it serves as an inspiration for future generations of athletes in Latta, reminding them that with dedication, dreams can be realized.
